cops on a Scots street during an early morning incident this weekend. Officers from Police Scotland swooped on Aberdeen's Holburn Street at around 2.25am on Saturday, August 23, amid reports of a man with a knife.
The major street was closed off between Great Southern and Great Western Road as officers dealt with the incident. A 30-year-old man was tasered and arrested for an alleged knife possession.
Inspector Rod Smith, of Aberdeen's Queen Street Police Station, said: "Around 2.25am on Sunday, 23 August, 2020, officers attended Holburn Street in Aberdeen due to a man in possession of a knife. "As a result of this, Holburn Street was closed from Great Southern Road to Great Western Road for a short period.
