Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard appeared to let the cat out of the bag that Jacqui Smith is starring on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The former Home Secretary was speaking on the show via a video call, where she was discussing Tony Abbott's appointment as UK trade envoy.

At the end of the interview, Ben made a cheeky comment about Strictly and about Jacqui's "jugs" which were on display in the kitchen behind her.

A giggly Jacqui did not confirm or deny as she smiled cheekily. Ben said: "One appointment we can all agree on though, is Jacqui Smith for Strictly, that is one we are all very excited about." Co host Charlotte Hawkins sang the Strictly theme tune to Jacqui as she smiled wryly.
