A kind-hearted charity worker has died from coronavirus on her 25th birthday. Claudia Marsh, believed to be from Wirral, became a 'poster girl' for a homeless charity during last year's lockdown, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Tributes have flooded in for the 'beautiful', 'kind' and 'passionate' young woman after her death at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

Claudia decided to make the most of her spare time last year by sorting and packing food and sleeping parcels for the homeless.

Her family have set up a JustGiving page to collect donations to two charities Claudia was involved with. At the time of writing, more than £10,000 has been donated in aid of TEDS (Talking Eating Disorders) and The Whitechapel Centre Charity.
