Kilwinning Rangers are set to close the final chapter on vandal-hit Abbey Park.The club this week moved a step closer towards severing links with their former ground after two sponsors agreed to clear the eyesore site free of charge.Billy Bowie, chairman of Kilmarnock FC and owner of Billy Bowie Skip Hire, and Tom McKee, who runs Strathclyde Demolition, will use their expertise to remove wrecked buildings and piles of debris left behind by rampaging yobs.
The move comes just weeks after portable accommodation was torched in the latest in a long ling of incidents that have plagued Abbey Park in recent years.The problem has worsened since the Buffs moved to their new home at Kilwinning Sports Club last
