Lionel Messi - who is looking to claim his seventh title -was amongst the favourites with Robert Lewandowski and Mohamed Salah battling the Argentine for the accolade as Kevin De Bruyne ranked highest in eighth, with Raheem Sterling 15th, Riyad Mahrez 20th, Phil Foden 25th and Ruben Dias joint-26th.
