Phil Foden has a chance of returning to the Manchester City squad for tomorrow's lunchtime clash with Wolves. The 21-year-old was taken off at half time of the midweek defeat at RB Leipzig with a recurrence of his ankle problem, leading to doubts he would not be fit for the weekend.
But he has returned to training - along with Nathan Ake, who was substituted with a back injury - Foden has returned and his condition will be assessed after this afternoon's session.
The Blues are expected to make a swathe of changes from the team that finished off the group stage of the Champions League in Germany, with Gabriel Jesus and Aymeric Laporte also hoping to be available.
