Kenneth Branagh has been named as the director of a Bee Gees biopic movie for Paramount Pictures, it is claimed. Brannagh, 60, is known for starring in Shakespeare plays including Much Ado About Nothing and as Gilderoy Lockhard in the Harry Potter films.
The movie will examine the humble beginnings of brothers Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb and their journey to pop superstardom.
The film got set up in late 2019 by Bohemian Rhapsody producer Graham King at GK. It is the first film project for Sister which was set up by Elisabeth Murdoch, Stacey Snider and Jane Featherstone.
Barry Gibb - the only surviving member of the Bee Gees - is believed to be involved in the narrative film, and will be its executive producer, Deadline reported.
