Kendall Jenner's now infamous Pepsi advert has made an unlikely return to social media amid the protesting currently sweeping across America.
Back in 2017 the model starred in a commercial for the soft drinks giant that was widely slammed as 'tone deaf' and 'irresponsible.' The ad showed Kendall walking out of a photoshoot to join a protest before calming the situation down by handing a policeman a can of Pepsi.
After the officer takes a sip the whole crowd breaks out into cheers as peace is restored. Viewers were immediately furious with the brand for trivialising the Black Lives Matter Movement and for positioning a 'privileged white' model as a peacemaker between activists and police.
