The Duchess of Cambridge has a new role!This morning, Buckingham Palace revealed in a press release that Duchess Kate has been appointed joint president of the United Kingdom's Scout Association to work alongside Prince Edward, Duke of Kent.
The Scout Association helps almost half a million people aged six to 25 from all walks of life gain the skills they need for their futures, making it one of the largest coeducational youth movements within the country.
For the duchess's first appearance as joint president, she visited the 12th Northolt Scout Group in West London to hear how the Scouts have adapted to the global pandemic in recent months.
