It comes one year after the 53-year-old author and former lobbyist was struck down with Covid-19 which left extensive damage to his organs.
Derek still remains incredibly ill one year later and still hasn’t been able to come home to his beloved wife Kate. Although Kate has been exceptionally strong throughout Derek’s illness, the former I’m A Celebrity star opened up about her difficult Easter weekend in her latest social media post.
