Kate Garraway expressed her horror over the "unspeakable" murder of Sarah Everard, saying that she "felt her mum's pain". Sarah's mum made a heartbreakingly powerful victim impact statement in the court as she addressed police officer Wayne Couzens during his sentencing for murder, kidnap and rape.
Addressing newspaper headlines as she hosted Good Morning Britain today, Kate said: "Sarah Everard is absolutely everywhere and the heartbreaking testimonies and statements from her family at Couzens' sentencing yesterday. "It is unspeakable and you just can't help just feel that pain, particularly when her mum talked about being haunted about what her last hours must have been like." Sarah's mum spoke alongside her daughter Katie and husband.
