Kate Garraway admits she has grieved for her husband in emotional documentary Finding Derek

msn.comKate Garraway has said she may have to “fall in love again” with her husband Derek Draper — adding she has “grieved” for him during his year-long battle with Covid-19.
Draper, 53, a former lobbyist, was hospitalised with the illness a year ago. While he no longer has Covid-19, he is suffering from kidney, heart, and liver failure and damage to his pancreas.
A year ago, he was placed in a medically induced coma. Medics told Garraway, also 53, that he was the most seriously ill person they had seen who was still alive.
Garraway - who shares two children Darcey, 15, and William, 11, with Draper - filmed her husband’s journey. The footage was broadcast last night as part of the powerful documentary Kate Garraway: Finding Derek.
