Kansas founding member Robert Eugene Steinhardt has passed away at the age of 71 from complications from pancreatitis.Robert's wife Cindy revealed the violinist had passed away in her arms on July 17, several months after he was sent to the hospital for acutepancreatitis and placed on life support.Despite being given a 'grave' outlook at the time, Robert made it through the night and began his 'road to recovery'.'Our final journey started May 13 when Robby was admitted into the hospital with acute pancreatitis,' Cindy wrote in a statement posted to Facebook. 'Later that night he went into acute septic shock and was placed on life support.
