Turns out, the Vice Presidential salary changes from time to time. This is different from how the President of the United States gets paid: Former Vice President and President-elect Joe Biden, who was elected as the 46th president of the United States on Saturday, November 7, 2020, will earn a fixed salary of $400,000—just like every other President since 2001.
His running-mate, Senator Kamala Harris of California, is set to become the 49th Vice President of the United States on Inauguration Day in January 2021 and will also receive an annual salary.
