Jose Mourinho has reportedly told friends that he ‘cannot believe’ Tottenham are yet to sign a back-up striker for Harry Kane this summer.Spurs paid the price for relying solely on Kane upfront last season, with the England captain’s serious hamstring injury in January leaving Mourinho without a recognised centre-forward for eight matches.And with just over a week to go in the summer transfer window, the north London club are set to embark on another campaign without an understudy to Kane.According to The Sun, Mourinho has told friends he is in disbelief over Spurs chief Daniel Levy’s failure to land another striker.It is believed the Special One was keen to sign Ollie Watkins from Brentford this summer, only to watch on as Aston Villa.
