Jurgen Klopp is not signing a new goalkeeper before Friday’s domestic transfer deadline and will stick with Adrian for Saturday’s Merseyside derby.
Adrian’s position as the injured Alisson’s understudy had been questioned because he was at fault for the first goal in Liverpool ’s chastening 7-2 destruction by Aston Villa.
Alisson could be sidelined with his shoulder injury for another five weeks and Klopp has the option of signing a goalkeeper from the EFL before Friday’s final transfer window closes.
