Jose Mourinho has defended Harry Kane from accusations of dangerous play by pointing the finger at Premier League divers. Kane won a penalty against Brighton by stepping underneath Adam Lallana, who was trying to clear the ball during Tottenham ’s 2-1 win on Sunday.
But in a week where Mo Salah was accused of diving to win Liverpool a penalty, Mourinho claims the focus should be on players who go down too easily.
The Spurs boss, whose side face Ludogorets in the Europa League on Thursday night, said: “Speak about Liverpool. Speak about Manchester United. “Speak about these penalties where there is a clever guy and somebody comes and blows on them and they are on the floor.
