Johnny Depp's Los Angeles mansion was targeted by a would-be burglar while he was not present at the weekend. TMZ reports police were summoned to the extensive castle-like Hollywood Hills home after an attempted entry triggered an alarm.
According to the publication a woman fled following the alarm sounding, but was found by police nearby and arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Officers are still investigating, but have linked the attempt to a recent burglary nearby. Pirates Of The Caribbean star Depp purchased the 1920s-era eight-bedroom property, which stands in a four-acre eucalyptus grove, back in 1995.
