Manchester United star Jesse Lingard is reportedly set to travel to the United States to hear 'groundbreaking' offers from two Major League Soccer teams.Lingard left United when his contract expired at the end of last season, with the Englishman still yet to find a new club.
He has attracted interest from a range of sides, despite a disappointing final campaign at Old Trafford.He had enjoyed a successful loan spell at West Ham in the second half of the 2020/2021 campaign.
But he barely featured for the Red Devils upon his return to Manchester, making just two starts in the Premier League in the entirety of last season.The midfielder is now available on a free transfer, with West Ham and Everton his leading suitors in the Premier League.
But according to ESPN, Lingard is also attracting interest from the MLS.It is stated that Lingard and his representatives have now flown out across the pond to meet with two clubs.
