Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has labelled the club's decision to name David Moyes as Sir Alex Ferguson 's successor "a mistake".
Moyes took over at Old Trafford in 2013 after Ferguson announced he would be retiring but the ex-Everton boss was sacked after just ten months in charge, with the club languishing in seventh.
Speaking to ex-team-mate Rio Ferdinand on his Locker Room show, Hernandez claimed United are still "haunted" by their decision to appoint Moyes and that the Scotsman did not have the right pedigree or experience to follow Ferguson.
Hernandez said: "To be honest, I’m always going to be a red. We didn’t ever have anything personal - Moyes and myself - but it was a mistake that they took him.
