Manchester United's pursuit of Cesc Fabregas reportedly blocked Paul Pobga's return to Old Trafford in 2013. Pogba, who came through the ranks at United, left the club for free to join Juventus in 2012.
With the Italian giants, he developed into one of the best midfielders in the world and eventually rejoined the Red Devils in an £89million deal in 2016.
But Pogba's career could have panned out far differently if United had signed him just one year after he moved to Turin. The Red Devils were informed the Frenchman was open to a return in 2013, as Moyes took over from Sir Alex Ferguson, according to The Athletic.
