Graeme Souness claims Manchester United fans "made his year" with their abuse of him during a fixture with Chelsea. The former Scotland midfielder was already a villain in the eyes of the Old Trafford faithful due to his successful spell as captain of arch-rivals Liverpool.
But Sky Sports pundit Souness has recently angered United supporters with his repeated criticism of Paul Pogba since the Frenchman was signed for £89million in 2016.
And during the Red Devils' 4-0 win over Chelsea at the start of the season, Souness was the subject of abuse from fans. Standing alongside former manager Jose Mourinho, the three-time European Cup winner heard chants of "w***er".
