Jamie Carragher and John Terry have spoken about the errors they believe Chelsea made in handling Fernando Torres following his move to the club from Liverpool.
Torres scored a hugely impressive 81 goals in 142 games for the Reds between 2007-2011 and Chelsea spent £50m on his signature.
He failed to spark in the same manner at Stamford Bridge, however, and especially struggled at the start of his spell, scoring just 12 times in his first season-and-a-half.
In an ironic twist of fate Torres made his Blues debut against Liverpool, receiving a great deal of stick from the away supporters, and he failed to make an impression and was substituted in the second half.
