JAMES Nesbitt did NOT look happy as he was spotted on tje set of Netflix's The Stranger follow-up Stay Close. James, 56, plays a detective called Broome who is unable to let go of a cold case involving a missing person.
Filming is taking place in Manchester and during one scene, James looked intense and serious as his character spoke on a mobile phone.
While the detective looked unhappy with whatever he was hearing on the phone, the same could not be said for a bunch of young female extras, who were dressed up in colourful partywear to film scenes in a club.
The drama is based on author Harlan Coben's novel of the same name and follows the hit Netflix adaptation of one of his other books, The Stranger.
