James May spotted driving van for local charity helping ‘most vulnerable in society’

James May has volunteered to deliver food for local charity The Felix Project during the coronavirus pandemic. The TV personality, best known for presenting Top Gear and then The Grand Tour, has been spotted doing his bit for society by helping to deliver surplus food to London families who are struggling.

James, 57, was wearing a bright, high vis jacket as he drove a van full of food for The Felix Project. The organisation collects ‘fresh, nutritious food’ which, for whatever reason, cannot be sold and delivers it to families in need.

This pandemic has seen many families struggling to either get access to food or to afford it if people are out of work. The charity’s website says: ‘Right now, millions of people in the UK regularly
