Manchester United. The Borussia Dortmund winger was singled out as their biggest summer target after a mixed season of results under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but his current side are not willing to be pressured into a sale.
The 20-year-old scored 17 goals and laid on 17 assists in just 32 Bundesliga appearances during his most recent campaign, and Dortmund were always likely to hold out for in excess of £100m.
The Red Devils had been keen to move away from having to pay premium sums for incoming deals, as was the case in their move for Harry Maguire, but on this occasion it is unlikely to pay off.
