ITV were rapped by Ofcom after 41,000 This Morning and Good Morning Britain viewers entered competitions they had no chance of winning.

The regulator raised issues with a number of competitions spanning through their daytime and evening programming. The competitions include Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, Loose Women, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, La Vuelta and X Factor: The Band.

Ofcom found that those who entered these competition using the postal votes were not included in the count - meaning they had no chance of winning.
