A body has been found in woodland as police and volunteers search for a missing 16-year-old boy. Lucas Webb was reported missing from Barham in Canterbury, Kent, yesterday afternoon, prompting a huge search.
His family have been informed, police said. Around 100 volunteers joined search and rescue teams trying to find the missing teenager.
Last night a helicopter was seen flying over the village in an effort to find Lucas. In a heartbreaking update this afternoon, a spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Police attended woodland near Barham at 11.30am on Sunday 13 December 2020, where the body of a boy was located.
