Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

ITV axes Lorraine, Loose Women and Emmerdale as TV schedule gets shake-up during National Mourning

ITV has made significant changes to its normal daytime TV schedule during National Mourning. The channel has altered its usual run of programmes on Monday, September 12 to make way for special news coverage honouring Queen Elizabeth II.

Broadcasters changed their schedules drastically since the BBC delivered the sad news that Her Majesty had died on Thursday evening (September 8).

Both the BBC and ITV will air a series of dedicated reports and documentaries throughout the National Mourning period, which will be in place until seven days after her funeral on Monday, September 19.

On Friday, the day after the Queen's death, ITV completely revised its planned schedule. Good Morning Britain delivered a live broadcast hosted by Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard and then from 9am until the evening, viewers watched an extended ITV News Special.
