17-year-old Carney Chwukuemeka came within the width of the goalpost from a remarkable Premier League debut after his late strike against Tottenham Hotspur rattled the frame of Hugo Lloris' goal.
Despite only being introduced off the bench in the 89th minute, Chwukuemeka still managed to make an impact in the one minute plus stoppage time he was on the pitch.
His brief cameo ensured he became the third-youngest player to play for Aston Villa in the Premier League after Gareth Barry (17y 68d) and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy (16y 198d).
Born in Austria to Nigerian parents, the forward has been at the club since the age of 12 after he was spotted at Northampton Town.
