World Cup qualifier.Upon landing in Kumasi ahead of the first-leg of their World Cup qualifier against Ghana, the Nigeria team were greeted by a staircase that wasn't tall enough to reach their plane.
The steps, which looked old and rusty, came up a good few feet short of the plane doors. As a result, stars including Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho and Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis had no choice but to hop down from the plane onto the structure.
All of the players managed it just fine, although one or two looked a little perplexed at the strange situation. Nigeria will be hoping for a smoother time of things when they take on Ghana in the first-leg of their crucial World Cup qualifier on Friday night.
Both teams are two games away from the 2022 tournament in Qatar, with the winner set to be decided in the second-leg on Tuesday evening.Ghana, who missed out on the 2018 World Cup, will have the added experience of former Premier League boss Chris Hughton to call upon ahead of the match.
