But not in my hometown of Sydney as planned - my cancellation meant if I wanted to get home ASAP, I’d be holidaying in Brisbane for my two week quarantine.
Landing around 9.30pm on the Friday evening after a 23-hour transit, I was hoping for a quick turn around on the processing and possibly even an early night.
No such luck. With all the necessary checks done, I finally arrived in my room just after 3am, I couldn’t complain, it was a decent double.
