Kelly Preston and her husband John Travolta were prominent members of The Church of Scientology and she's likely to be given a funeral service in accordance with its customs.
Since being founded by sci-fi writer L. Ron Hubbard in the 1950s, the organisation has risen to become one of the most talked about and controversial religions in the world.
Kelly died on Sunday aged 57 and it's likely her memorial service will be a full Scientology funeral. She previously credited the Church with helping her deal with her grief following the death of her son Jett in 2009, saying she was "forever indebted".
