Influencer defies 'exhausting' beauty ideals by flaunting curves in lingerie snap

Body positive influencer and model Nelly London has taken to Instagram to embrace her belly – after admitting keeping up with beauty ideals is “exhausting".The Brighton-based brunette is no stranger to sharing uplifting posts with her 465,000 followers.She has previously been open about her bodged boob job, which left her with scars on her breasts.And in a recent post, Nelly has stripped down into some white lacy undies to flaunt her natural curves and show some love to her belly.The influencer grabbed onto her stomach and her hips, celebrating her figure instead of airbrushing it.

Along with the series of sexy lingerie snaps, the influencer shared a long caption which explained how women are “taught” to hate their bodies.She said: “It seems like a weird concept right?

Not hating your body.“We were always taught that we should hate them, like, really hate them. We are expected to torture them with restriction and excessive exercise and do everything we can to shrink them, and then grow them, but only in certain places, but then actually shrink them again.“It’s exhausting.”Nelly reassured her followers that they do not have to love their bodies all the time – but should try to be less hard on themselves about the way they look.She explained: “You don’t have to love your body every day, you don’t even have to like it all the time, but you can be okay with it.
