Iker Casillas has provided a terrifying insight into the details of the heart attack which struck him down in May 2019. Then at Porto, Casillas suffered the heart attack during a training session and was rushed to hospital, where he was kept for five days.
Though he returned to the training ground two months later, the ordeal brought forward the goalkeeping legend's retirement and he hung up his gloves in August this year.
Casillas, 39, frankly recalled his harrowing experience in new documentary Catching the Wings - a six-episode series which charts his glittering career with Real Madrid, Porto and Spain.
