Frustrated Iceland shoppers have been left overdrawn and out of pocket over a glitch that's linked to its online payments system.
The supermarket said it's now "overhauling" its payments process after customers had multiple sums ring-fenced on their account for the same order.
The glitch, revealed by MoneySavingExpert, meant some customers were unexpectedly pushed into their overdraft as a result, while others have had payments, such as direct debits, bounce.
The publisher said it's seen a number of cases where shoppers have been hit with additional charges which show up as 'pending' on their account.
