Sinead O’Connor has gone back on her retirement announcement. The singer stated that she would be leaving music behind earlier this month as she promoted her new book, Rememberings.

And only a handful of days later, Sinead released a new statement in which she told the world she had no intention of quitting music.

She confirmed that she was ‘retracting’ her previous statement. ‘Good news. F**k retiring. I retract. Am not retiring. I was temporarily allowing pigs in lipstick to f**k my head up,’ she wrote on Twitter before sharing a lengthier and more ‘colourful’ statement alongside the hashtag, ‘LetOConnorBeOConnor’.
