Charlene Donaldson was told she had cervical cancer in August 2015. The 38-year-old underwent four gruelling weeks of radiotherapy, before chemotherapy in November 2015.
This was followed by Brachytherapy, a type of internal radiation therapy that is often used to treat cancers of the cervix.
