Hunter Biden has spoken out about his problems with addiction and has admitted that they stemmed from events that happened in his past.
The son of President Joe Biden has opened up about his tumultuous personal life, including his years of harrowing substance abuse before the road to recovery.
Speaking about his life in a CBS News interview, Hunter explained: ‘I am more convinced now that trauma is at the centre of it [his addictions].’ This comes ahead of the release of Hunter’s new memoir, Beautiful Things, where he details his struggles with and recovery from drugs and alcohol.
Joe Biden’s son admitted that a lot of his turmoil came from the trauma of a 1972 car crash that killed his mother, Neilia, and his infant sister, Naomi.
