President Joe Biden is making a new announcement about the coronavirus vaccine. The President of the United States announced on Tuesday (April 6) that all adults will be eligible to receive the vaccine by April 19. “No more confusing rules, no more confusing restrictions,” he said from the White House, bumping up the original promised date of May 1 by almost two weeks.

He also issued a warning: “We aren’t at the finish line. We still have a lot of work to do. We still are in a life and death race against this virus.” He added that the administration has made a “dramatic turnaround” in vaccine distribution since he took office, with more than 150 million shots administered.
