Another angry deer taken revenge and killed a hunter who opened fire at it. Mark David was archery hunting in Oregon, US, when he set his sights on the helpless Elk.
He wounded the creature but was unable to locate it before the sun went down. The 66-year-old returned the next day - but didn't count on the furious deer lying in wait.
It charged at him and gored him in the neck with its antlers. David died of his injuries of in hospital and the landowner then track down and killed the animal.
The Elk is the third-largest type of land mammal found in North America. Oregon State Police told the local media that the owner tried to save David’s life after the incident but the hunter’s wounds were fatal.
