Police are hunting slayers who stole then slaughtered chickens before leaving them outside homes in Fife. We told how the killers swiped the animals overnight, between May 2 and 3, from Easter Cartmore Farm in Lochgelly.
Multiple dead birds were then discovered in gardens and driveways by horrified residents.Officers are following a positive line of enquiry but are still looking for more information.Sergeant Donald Sutherland, of Cowdenbeath Police Station, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing."We would ask anyone with CCTV footage in the area or who may have information that could assist with our investigation to contact police.”Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident 0865 of May 3.
