As is now traditional, Wilmslow Road was the place to be and it was packed out with families and friends gathering to mark the end of Ramadan.
And with the pavements full, children tucked into ice creams and sweets. Meanwhile shisha and flash sports cars and flares were the order of the day for the young men cruising up and down the street.
Celebrations today have been a little different than usual, with large gatherings and indoor household mixing off the cards until Monday.
