A huge party of 200 drunken teenagers "not adhering to any social distancing" rules was broken up by police. Concerned residents in Santry, north Dublin, made multiple calls to a local Garda station on Saturday, with officers moving in to bring the "large gathering" to an abrupt end.

The party was taking place in an underpass. A photo showing a table full of "abandoned" bottles of alcohol was shared on social media following the incident, reports Dublin Live.

Officers are said to have "attempted to engage" with the youths to advise them and their families about the health risks of such a gathering during the coronavirus pandemic.
