Some of the pubs across the UK have been forced to shut early after incidents involving "major disorder". Drinkers attending The Devonshire, the Nags Head, the Jug and Glass and The Swan, in Mansfield and Sutton-in-Ashfield were ordered to leave after 5.30pm on "Super Saturday" after a man suffered neck injuries in an assault.
On Friday, a man was fatally stabbed in a "brawl" at Crossharbour DLR station in east London. An eyewitness said it was a fight between four men, with two against two and one was allegedly stabbed in the back and the other in the neck..
