Test to Release for International Travel scheme will work for travellers arriving in England. Previously, arrivals from countries and territories that weren't on the Travel Corridor list had to self-isolate for a mandatory 14 days amid restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic.
But now, this quarantine period could be slashed by half as part of the new initiative which aims to reduce the amount of time spent in isolation - on production of a negative test.
This could in some cases be as early as six days after arrival in England - if travellers are willing to pay for a test from a private provider.
