How long PIP payments take to come through after making a new claim for the monthly benefit

Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or transferring from Disability Living Allowance (DLA) to the benefit can be a lengthy process for some claimants.

However, that should not put anyone off making a claim because people who are awarded PIP will receive between £23.70 and £152.15 per week - if you are aged 16 or over and have not yet reached State Pension age.

The benefit is paid into a bank or building society account every four weeks in arrears, which means you could receive between £94.80 and £608.60 every month in additional financial support.
