Britney Spears' mum has slammed her ex-husband's conservatorship expenses claim from their daughter's money. Lynne Spears, who was married to Britney's dad Jamie between 1976 and 2002, has reportedly taken issue with legal fees he racked up during his ongoing legal battle with his daughter over her conservatorship, which he has overseen since 2008.

Ahead of the next conservatorship hearing on April 27, Lynne's attorney Gladstone N. Jones, III has filed legal papers claiming the legal fees are "utterly excessive", according to Yahoo.

In papers seen by Yahoo, Lynne criticised the nearly $900,000 (£646,000) Jamie spent on law firm Holland & Knight, fees spent during Britney's attempt to remove him as co-conservator of her estate.
