A woman who went missing almost six months ago has been found alive - living in a tent and surviving by eating grass and moss.
She was discovered when a police drone that was searching for her crashed nearby and spotted her encampment, police said. The woman, aged 47, was found on Sunday in a remote campground in a national forest in the state of Utah.
US authorities said the woman had lost a 'significant' amount of weight and was weak, reports the Daily Star. However, they believe the woman voluntarily chose to move to the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Diamond Fork Canyon.
Authorities say she had survived several months on a small amount of food she brought with her as well as grass and moss from her surroundings.
