Concerts at The Hollywood Bowl will soon be not just a memory, but a reality. The Los Angeles Philharmonic on Friday revealed that the outdoor venue will welcome limited capacity audiences of approximately 4,000 people starting in May, working toward larger capacities later in the summer as safety guidelines amid California's reopening plan are modified.
Programming will be announced May 11 and the season will be kicked off by four free concerts in May and June. Invited healthcare workers, first responders and essential workers will be given first priority for the free concerts, three of which are made possible through a partnership with Kaiser Permanente.
